ime machines are hard to come by these days, but then there is Freemans Sporting Club, a venerable time capsule of cool by-way-of the ultimate understated men's club. A bastion of laid-back luxury, owners William Tigertt's and Taavo Somer's store is authentically antique, and, in addition to all the exceptional work shirts and high-quality outerwear, the proprietors have stocked it with plenty of vintage furnishings and unusual objets such as old oil nautical paintings and random tools. Upstairs, an old-school barbershop offering various grooming services rounds out the experience. Be sure to check out Taavo's own line of ready-to-wear suits, which evinces the meticulous tailoring and craftsmanship that a gentleman of any era will appreciate.
